🚨2026-27 COMMUNITY GRANTS SCHEME NOW OPEN 🚨

Kangaroo Island Council’s 2026-27 Community Grants Scheme is now open for applications! The Community Grant Scheme is designed to help community groups or individuals seeking funding for projects that bring social, environmental and cultural benefit to Kangaroo Island.

Community Grants are payments made by the Council to support local initiatives that progress community outcomes and contribute to sport and recreation, local culture, demonstrate community benefit, and assist in meeting the Council's strategic goals and objectives.

The Grant pool available is $22,500 for the 2026-27 financial year, with a maximum amount of $4,000 being available for any application.

All funds allocated need to be expended and acquitted within the current financial year or within twelve months of grant acceptance under this program.

Because when we learn how to connect during difficult times, we build stronger connections all the time. Together we can help reduce the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. This training is for everyone. No experience needed - just bring your curiosity and care for others. 🫶
