The Killarney Swimming Pool plays a vital role in our community, bringing people together for fitness, relaxation, and fun.

Learn skills for life and dive into fitness and family fun at the Killarney Swimming Pool, a welcoming community hub with a heated 25-metre pool and family-friendly facilities. From mid-September to April, the pool offers a heated 25-metre facility, a babies' pool, BBQ areas, table tennis, and comfortable lounge spaces for relaxation and unwinding. Our Learn to Swim classes help children of all ag

es, from babies to school-aged kids, build confidence and essential water safety skills. Adults can join Aqua Aerobics classes for a low-impact workout that strengthens muscles and improves flexibility. With water heated to 28 degrees, the pool invites you to perfect your strokes, enjoy quality family time, or stay active in a refreshing way. The Killarney Swimming Pool creates a space where health, community, and fun thrive together.

The Killarney Community Pool is currently closed following a power outage over the weekend.

We’re working to get the pool back up and running as quickly as possible, but we do need to carry out a few checks before reopening.

We’ll keep you updated as things progress. Thanks for your patience 💙

As the swimming season comes to an end, the pool will be closing a little earlier than usual this year due to operational issues.

We thank our community for another great season and appreciate your understanding. We look forward to welcoming everyone back when the pool reopens next season.

What a fantastic summer it’s been at the Killarney Community Swimming Pool! ☀️💦

From swimming lessons and aqua fitness to lazy afternoons and family fun, it’s been great seeing the pool full of life again.

The pool will close for the winter on Sunday 29 March and will reopen in September.

Thank you to everyone who came along, supported the pool, and helped make this season such a success. We can’t wait to see you all back when the weather warms up again!

A big thank you to the Killarney Bonfire Night Community Event for their generous donation to the Killarney Community Pool 🙌

Thanks to this support, we’ll be installing a new squad clock, with the donation covering the clock itself as well as the required installation and electrical work. This will be a great addition for our swimmers and squads, making training sessions clearer and more efficient.

It’s another great example of a community event giving back to the community. We really appreciate the support and the effort that goes into making nights like Bonfire Night such a success for Killarney.

The Killarney Community Pool will have FREE ENTRY on Monday, 26th January, as part of our Australia Day celebrations in the park.

🕘 Pool open: 9:00am–1:00pm
Pop between the Australia Day event in the park and the pool, cool off, and make a proper morning of it with family and friends.

No better way to spend Australia Day in Killarney.
