On Thursday 10 September, we will be holding the first of our Year 7 2027 Enrolment Information Sessions!

As part of the enrolment process, families are expected to attend one of the Enrolment Information sessions, where they will receive their 2027 Enrolment Pack. Families can meet our Leadership Team at the Multi-Purpose Centre to start the tour. School tour starts at 4pm and the Information Session begins at 4:30pm 😊

📣A friendly reminder to families that tomorrow, Friday 4 September is a Student Free Day. The whole school (including the office) will be closed on this day, with students returning to school Monday 7 September.

This term, Ms Young’s Year 10 Food Technologies class have been busy developing their decorating skills as part of their ‘Sweet Solutions’ unit 🧁

Over the past few lessons, students have been practicing a range of piping techniques, getting creative with their own fondant topper creations. These skills will help students as they work towards designing and producing their final sweet treats later in the term 😊

On Thursday 20 August, our Year 9 & 10 students attended the South East Queensland (SEQ) Gala Day at the South Pine Sports Complex in Brendale.

Students travelled to complete against other schools in the region in games of Volleyball and OzTag.

Our Girls OzTag team and one of our Boys OzTag teams narrowly missed out on the opportunity to compete in the finals. Our Volleyball teams achieved outstanding results, taking both first and second place in the competition.

All students displayed impressive skill, resilience and school spirit throughout the day, representing Kilcoy State High School with pride 😊

A friendly reminder to families that there will be no normal classes for our Year 10 students today. Students and 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟭 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁/𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 are required to attend. We kindly ask that you arrive at the Multi-Purpose Hall foyer 10 minutes before your scheduled meeting time.
