We strive to make every day a great day for our clients. We listen until
we learn what makes people come alive. We know what makes them
anxious, what makes them excited and what makes them smile. We
support people to grow as individuals, explore their communities and,
where

possible, develop pathways to work. At Wallara we believe in deep collaboration. We partner with families,
experts in the industry, community groups and businesses to deliver the best supports for each individual. Working with trusted partners allows us to offer a huge range of experiences and resources outside the walls of Wallara. We have a lofty mission to 'drive social change in our community to empower people with different abilities'. We believe that to truly change communities to be more inclusive we need to inspire people to think differently. Through WallaraTV, social media and our Insight schools program we are calling people to see beyond peoples’ disabilities and to imagine what inclusion could look like in their business or community. We thank you for your interest in Wallara. To get a true feel for the heart of our community we invite you to look at our website or to watch a video on our YouTube channel, WallaraTV.

The crew from Roy Close recently had a great day exploring Melbourne .

Lots of laughs and a few city stops along the way. The weather definitely helped.

A few of these housemates not only live together they also work side by side at Wallara Logistics during the week.

Nice to slow things down on the weekend and enjoy a day out as mates.

What a beautiful surprise in the studio today at RPPFM - Your Peninsula Radio 💛

We had some very special visitors drop in… some of the wonderful crew from Sages Cottage Farm came by for a tour and popped in to say hello 🎙️

It was so lovely to see them, have a chat, and of course grab a photo together 📸 Moments like this are what community is all about.

For those who may not know, Sages Cottage is part of Wallara Australia Ltd. and provides such meaningful opportunities for people to learn new skills, build confidence, and be part of something bigger. From farm work and gardening to hospitality and hands-on learning, it’s a place where people can grow, connect, and truly shine 🌱

Days like today remind me just how important these connections are. So grateful for the visit and the smiles you brought into the studio 💛

Rady has been a part of the Land Management crew for four years - even taking out Supported Employee of the Year last year.

But with a young family, he had a new goal in mind - Open Employment.

Supported by Wallara's Open Employment team, Rady was introduced to Alan from Fox Mowing.

After a trial, the fit was clear.

"By the end of the shift, I was struggling to keep up with Rady - I couldn't have been hapier with how he worked." Alan.

Rady is now working with Fox Mowing in addition to his role at Wallara.

Congratulations Rady! 👏

What a great day out for the Pakenham Places of Interest group 🌆

On Friday, the group travelled into Melbourne by public transport, visiting the Shrine of Remembrance and taking in the city along the way. A fantastic day out together.

At the Welcome Post Cafe inside Frankston RSL, Wallara volunteers are building hospitality skills while getting to know the veteran community along the way ☕

Ben shared, “It’s good practice for the job market and will help me with pathways to future employment… I love learning about the veterans and hearing about their lives.”

For Margaret and others at the RSL, it’s something they genuinely look forward to — familiar faces and shared stories each week.

The name 'Welcome Post Cafe' is inspired by 'The Last Post' — a bugle call that marks the end of the day in military tradition, and is used in remembrance to honour service and sacrifice. 🌺

As Romaine Kakoullis, General Manager Learning & Lifestyle, says:
“Opportunities like this help people build skills and confidence in a setting that feels natural and part of the community… supporting the next step into employment pathways.”

🌱 “I love working at Wallara because they support me and help me do my best” - Tom, LMS Supported Employee

Tom is a valued part of our Land Management Services, taking on a variety of tasks and responsibilities. His work primarily focuses on lawn care, including brush cutting, push mowing, ride-on mowing, blowing pathways and edging.

With the support of his job coaches, Tom continues to grow his skills and confidence. He is eager to learn, takes pride in doing the job well and is always improving - especially when it comes to handling equipment and maintaining safe work practices.

Tom finds enjoyment working out in the field, particularly operating the ride-on mower and brush cutting, where his progress and dedication really shine.

It’s not just about the work either - Tom builds great connections with his team and is a positive part of something bigger, all while helping deliver a high standard of commercial work.
