Today will see Extreme fire danger with warm temperatures, low humidity and wind producing dangerous fire conditions.
A Total Fire Ban will be in force until midnight tonight.
Extinguish all outdoor fires now.
You can help prevent accidental fires from starting by
• Not using tools that produce sparks or flames outside such as
grinders and welders
• Postpone mowing or slashing large grassed areas
• Extinguish any smouldering BBQs with coals
Extreme conditions may require you to take immediate action if there is a fire in your area. Have your Bushfire Survival Plan Ready to enact.
