🔥 Burns under 1 cubic metre which do not require a permit are strongly discouraged.
🔥 Anyone having a campfire and/or wood fire barbecue is urged to never leave it unattended.

As some in our community may be aware, our long time friend and publican Pat Tankard passed away last week after a long illness.
Pat and Sue were great supporters of the fire brigade and any emergency services personnel.

For many years when there was a large fire the pub kitchen was buzzing preparing food and supplying drinks for our members.
There was always a carton or two dropped in to the station on our return from a fire and the pub became a hub for fundraising activities. With donations from Pat and Sue always on hand.

On behalf of our membs and their families I have extended our deepest condolences to Sue, Kye and James, assuring them Pat's support to the Fire Brigade will not be forgotten.

Today’s the day we look forward to every year!
We love serving our community through our emergency response but all our volunteers think lolly run is the best turn out of the year!

Friendly reminder to parents: please don’t let children approach the vehicles. Santa will get out and come see them on the footpath or driveway.
It’s a great event to remind children that if they hear sirens they should stop, on the footpath, and give us a wave. But don’t try to cross the street or approach vehicles. We love getting a wave on our way to an incident and seeing the kiddies standing still helps us know they are safe! Thanks grown-ups!

We love our community, but seriously… we don’t want to be called out tonight 🥶

So please, if you HAVE to drive, drive to the conditions and allow extra time to travel.

& certainly don’t go venturing off to the highlands… snow is pretty until your bogged in it for hours!

Much appreciated!
