Delivering for Upper Ross:
Exciting Plans Ahead
Since being elected to represent the Upper Ross, I’ve been working hard to deliver real outcomes for our community. To date, I’ve logged 378 jobs, with only 20 outstanding—and I’m committed to getting those completed as soon as possible.
One of the biggest wins has been securing approval for recreational fishing at the dam, and I’m thrilled to share that Stage Two, which will allow boating on the dam, isn’t far off. This will be a game-changer for locals and visitors alike.
We’ve also had some fantastic projects come to life:
✅ Pontoon approved for Loam Island – anticipated completion by March 2026
✅ Special needs swing installed at Charles Moroney Park
✅ Coles, Banjo’s Bakery, and Snap Fitness – all in progress and achieved within my first year
And there’s more on the horizon! We’re currently in talks to establish a motocross club in Upper Ross—something I know many residents will be excited about. Stay tuned for updates.
With Mayor Nick Dametto now on deck, things are moving in the right direction. He’s visited Upper Ross several times and is fully supportive of the projects underway. It’s great to have that level of backing for our community.
Lastly, Riverway Drive is still under construction, and I can’t wait to see the finished result—it’s going to make a huge difference.
