๐Ÿ“ขPulpit Rock Reserve reopens
One of the Blue Mountainsโ€™ most popular destinations has reopened after an extensive upgrade. Pulpit Rock Reserve in Blackheath was closed for public safety after the 2019/2020 summer bushfires destroyed all visitor infrastructure at the site. Council delivered the careful restoration works in stages as funding became available, including improved access, formalised car parking, picnic facilities, accessible amenities, and upgraded lookouts.
To find out more about the project, the facilities and arrangements at this site: https://www.bmcc.nsw.gov.au/ward-1-projects/pulpit-rock-upgrade
Read the Media Release here: https://www.bmcc.nsw.gov.au/media-centre/pulpit-rock-reopens-after-major-upgrade
The Pulpit Rock Reserve upgrades and remediation works were proudly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments and delivered by the Blue Mountains City Council.
