🎨 Mural artists – we're looking for you!

Victoria Daly Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest and quotations from experienced artists or muralists for a series of mural projects in Pine Creek.

The proposed artworks will celebrate Pine Creek's natural environment, history, heritage and local identity, with artists welcome to express interest in individual or multiple projects.

💙 World Alzheimer’s Day

Our Pine Creek Aged Care team members Annelese and Chiara recently made the trip from Pine Creek to Darwin to join CEO Jennifer Marston at Dementia Australia NT’s World Alzheimer’s Day morning tea.

It was wonderful to come together for the morning and learn more about the programs, resources and support available for people living with dementia, their families and carers.

The event was also a valuable opportunity to strengthen our connection with Dementia Australia and explore more ways to support our aged care clients in Pine Creek.

We’re proud of the care and commitment Annelese and Chiara bring to their roles, and the connections they continue to build to create meaningful opportunities for our clients.

Thank you to Steve Edgington MLA for taking the time to meet with Mayor Brian Pedwell and CEO Jennifer Marston and discuss some of the key priorities and challenges facing the Victoria Daly region.

Conversations like these are an important opportunity to share the experiences of our remote communities and advocate for the support and investment they need.

We appreciate the opportunity to discuss remote housing, disaster recovery and sustainable funding for local government, and to continue strengthening relationships that support better outcomes across our region.

Thank you also for recognising the work of our Councillors and staff, who continue to deliver essential services across our communities every day.

Great catching up with Mayor Brian Pedwell and CEO Jennifer Marston from the Victoria Daly Regional Council.

We had a good discussion about remote housing, disaster recovery and funding for local government councils.

Pine Creek residents – a reminder about your Friday kerbside rubbish collection. 🗑️

Collections will now commence from 7.00am on Friday mornings. The collection route remains the same. However, the earlier start means your bin may be collected earlier than you’re used to.

Please place your bin on the kerb on Thursday night to ensure it is ready for collection.
