July, August, September, and October at Day Care.

During this period we have had fewer children due to covid but always still having fun and productive days.

The children have been loving the sunshine and outside play on the jungle gym, mud kitchen, sandpit and so much more as well as being creative indoors with baking, making, painting, planting. and enjoying free play.
Some of the older children have been doing some experiments with making Erupting volcanos and bath bombs for their parents.

We are happy to welcome all the children back and bring on the Christmas vibes.

JUNE

Daycare creates bonds, friendships, and memories that last. Our Days are filled with fun, enjoyment, laughter, and happiness. KAYS KIDS CLUB
The children love to learn through play or reflect artwork with what they are learning or interested in. We always do our best to be creative and interactive with everything we do. We listen and learn from one another and you will notice that throughout our photos that no day is the same.
This month we went for a magnetic fish, build a cubby house, played with our blocks, indoor and outdoor play, dress-ups, arts and craft, yoga, and watched our garden grow.

APRIL

It's never boring at kays! This month we did an experiment with white flowers. we went for a scooter and bike ride around the block collecting white flowers to be brought back and put into different coloured pots of water with food colouring so we could watch them over the month change colour. They turned out great.

The month was also filled with flashlight disco, dance parties, singalong songs, outdoor play kinetic sand, painting, free play, ball pits, and cooking.

MARCH

March was a fun-filled month with lots of painting, drawing, stickers, and stamps, learning a new way to create beautiful masterpieces and learning about pineapples. As well as our all-time favourites of bubbles, outdoor play, playdough, walks and jumping castles. We also made best friend bracelets and baked cookies its been a busy but great month.

JANUARY

Now we have been so busy over the past few months since our last post. We have a new street library, which we ride our scooters and bikes too, and exchanged our books once a week. We have also been making some Gardens over the last month, our first garden was a sensory/ Fairy Garden (this is a touch and feel garden). Then we made a vegetable garden, which we planted tomatoes, spinach, and radishes. Then our last garden was a flower garden, which we planted daffodils and sunflowers. Along with our daily paintings and arts and crafts, I can say the kids have been very busy.

Well what a time we have all had over the last few months, with the Covid-19 virus. Some parents chose to keep their children at home, while others continued to work and had to send their little ones to daycare. Even though we were down a few in numbers, we still kept ourselves very busy making bracelets and necklaces, some goop, sponge painting, cutting & pasting, outdoor play, making some beautiful Mothers Day gifts, making masks, playing in the tee p*e and much more.

Well another year has ended and a new one has begun. First lets say goodbye and good luck to Seth, Bailey and Imogen, all started their new adventure at big school.

As some of our little ones have picked up extra days this year we are only welcoming one new boy named Levi, we hope he settles in quickly and enjoys his time at day care.

The children were very busy over the few months leading up to Christmas, making some gift boxes and decorations for Mums and Dads.

We had a fantastic farewell party for the children off to Kindy. The children danced, played limbo, slid down the slip n slide, and had lots of fun with their friends.

We are off to the new year with a very big and productive few months, doing lots of arts and crafts, Cosmic yoga, cooking ect.

Outdoor water play always helps us to cool off on the hot days, and the kids seem to enjoy it every time.

We have been doing lots of fun activities in the first two months of 2020 and hope to have as much fun this year as we did last year!
