Hi, Lilydale District Pony Club at Karoola Hall and Recreation Ground has been the victim of yet another break in some time between 12.30pm Thursday 5th and 1.30pm Friday September. They gained access by cutting the chain to the gates, pulled the wall away, and then cut the padlocks to the back roller door. They escaped with a push lawn mower. If any one saw anything, please contact the pony club at [email protected] or [email protected] or Tas Police and quote Incident Number 212-06092024. Thank you for your help :)

🐎 This Traffic Tuesday we aren’t horsing around! 🐎

Did you know that all road users must give way to agitated or alarmed horses and livestock, which means animals refusing to move, or that are difficult to control on the road.

If the rider of a horse or someone in charge of livestock gives a signal, by raising a hand and pointing to the horse, or gives a verbal instruction, you must stop and not move again until the horse or livestock has become settled and it is safe to proceed.

Be safe around horses and livestock and help us keep everyone safe on our roads.
