The Townsville City Council Division 1 by-election is on Saturday 19 September 2026.

📮As a full postal election, you’ll get a ballot pack in the post soon. We mail out ballot packs in a random order. Your partner or neighbour might get their ballot pack before or after you receive yours. This is perfectly normal.

There are no polling places to vote in person. You must vote using the ballot paper mailed to you.

Remember, voting is compulsory.
