We are excited to introduce our new Bendigo SDS gym to our school community! 💪

A huge shout out to our senior school students for choosing and designing the awesome gym name and logo, and a big thank you to McKern Steel and D-Club24/7Fitness for their contributions in helping bring this project to life.

We would also like to acknowledge our amazing therapy team, especially Megan, our physiotherapist, for all of her support and work behind the scenes in turning this vision into a reality.

This is a fantastic new space for our students to engage in meaningful exercise, build confidence, and support their health and wellbeing.

Parking Reminder For Families

To help keep our drop-off and pick-up times safe and running smoothly for families who need to access the front of the school, we kindly ask families to make use of the parking available along Neil Street, beside the school, before school (prior to 9:00 am) and after school (after 3:00 pm), where appropriate.
Families can access the school grounds via the gate near the bus bay, rather than entering through the front office area. The 15 minute parking spaces along the side of the school are often underused, while a large number of cars entering the front car park creates congestion and bottlenecks at these busy times.
This can make it difficult for our school buses to safely access the bus bay area and can also result in our small front office and reception area becoming quite crowded during peak times.
Our face-to-face teaching and learning programs run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. During these hours, teachers, education support staff, and students are actively involved in classroom programs and daily routines. While staff are always happy to support families, it can sometimes be difficult to have longer handover conversations once classes have commenced.
If there is important information to share with staff at the beginning of the day, we encourage families to arrive between 8:45 am and 9:00 am to allow time for this before learning programs begin.
We appreciate your support in using the Neil Street parking area and side gate access to help improve safety and traffic flow for everyone in our school community. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

We are excited to be hosting a multicultural lunch at Bendigo SDS, bringing together families to connect, share, and celebrate culture.

This hands-on event will involve families cooking and enjoying a meal together, with support from a local multicultural community group.

This event has been designed to support families from a range of cultural and language backgrounds, helping to build connections, reduce isolation, and strengthen our school community.

We are also proud to involve some of our senior students, who will be assisting with hospitality on the day. showcasing their skills, confidence, and contribution to our school.

We look forward to a wonderful day of connection, culture, and community.

A huge thank you and well done to our School Captains Tristan and Hannah, who represented our School Community brilliantly this morning. Alongside other schools and community groups at the Flat RSL Sub-Branch ANZAC Day commemoration service, they laid a wreath on behalf of our School Community. 🙏🫡🌺🥺🇦🇺
