We start floating from just 12 weeks old 💦🐬

In this video, Sarah explains how we progress our little swimmers through their floating journey. We want bub’s ears in the water so they can hear, feel and get comfortable with the water around them.

As they grow, we gradually stretch our arms out further, creating more distance between us and bub. This encourages them to start feeling their own buoyancy while we continue to support them🩵

💙 FATHER’S DAY COMPETITION 💙
It’s Father’s Day week! To celebrate, we’re running a little Draw Your Dad (or Special Person!) competition at the centre 🥰

Come in and grab a template, let your little one draw their dad, grandad, uncle or special person, then bring it back to us! We’ll take a photo of their masterpiece and enter them into the draw 🎨✏️

The winner will be chosen by our very own Dad, Wayno, on Father’s Day - Sunday 6th September!
And the prize may or may not include the highly original and extremely sought-after Bunnings voucher, among some other goodies 👀

TOY SCRAMBLE🩵🐸
This is one of our favourite activities in our Tadpole classes! While it looks like a lot of fun (it is!) there’s also lots of learning happening too. This activity encourages your child to practise kicking their legs, paddling their arms, moving through the water, reaching and coordinating all of their movements.

💡TOP TIP FOR PARENTS: To encourage your child to kick and paddle on their own, try not to move them forward on the noodle unless they are kicking and paddling. This helps them discover that THEY are responsible for making themselves move forward. If they stop kicking and paddling, they stop moving🩵
