A Call to Action for All Free and Compassionate People around the World
In solidarity with the people of Gaza and to mark the beginning of the ceasefire, we call upon everyone to light candles on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday evening.
Let’s light up the world for Gaza:
• Light a candle in a well-known location, on your balcony, in the streets, or at your workplace.
• Record a short video with or without a message of solidarity.
• Share these videos on social media platforms using the hashtag .
Let us amplify Gaza’s voice globally and make millions of candles a symbol of humanity and resilience against oppression, occupation, and all forms of colonialism and injustice.
We urge everyone to translate and share this call in every language and on all platforms. Together, let’s honor the heroic people of Gaza, who have inspired the world with their steadfastness, humanity, and fight for justice.
Additional Suggestion for Engagement:
• Organize symbolic gatherings worldwide in coordination with unions, institutions, and community groups.
• Encourage widespread sharing of photos and videos from this activity to maximize its global reach.
