Fun things happening here this morning at Ivanhoe Central School! Thank you Chris for coming and teaching our students all about African Drumming! There were some amazing sounds coming from the library and all the students loved this experience! 😄🪘

Renay from PCYC cannot make it today- we have two staff members still coming.

They will set up BBQ for lunch for everyone and then run laser tag periods 5-6 instead of after school.

NO AFTER SCHOOL SESSION TODAY. PICK UP FROM 3:35PM.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁?

One of our favourite things about wellbeing education is noticing the small shifts.

A child who can finally name what they’re feeling.

Someone who asks for help before things get too big.

A student who can say, “I need a minute.”

A friendship repair that needed a little less adult help than last time.

A child spotting a strength in themselves they hadn’t noticed before.

These things don’t necessarily show up in academic data, but they matter.

What wellbeing skill have you noticed growing in your students this year?

• Naming and understanding emotions
• Managing big feelings
• Friendship and conflict skills
• Confidence and self-belief

Tell us what you’re noticing.
