Last night Ipswich Special School hosted the Combined Special School Formal at Brothers Leagues Club. Our year 11 and year 12 students had a great night. Events like this are important for all teenagers and the have 90 young people and their teachers come together and celebrate is always special.
A HUGE thank you to the senior school teachers for organising the evening. And a special mention to Mandy and Jessie for setting up the event. šŸŽ‰

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of celebrating our Dads and the other special people who play such an important role in our lives. šŸ’™

A huge thank you to our wonderful P&C for running the Fatherā€™s Day Stall, and to our Senior students who put on a delicious feast for our Dads!

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so special. We hope all our Dads and special people have a very happy Fatherā€™s Day this Sunday! šŸ’™

The senior school students have been busy making a Tombola drum and cheese boards for the Coominya Cruisers Car Club to use for their Fatherā€™s Day event this weekend.
We successfully used pieces of timber from a bed, a broken broom handle, Perspex from out of computer screens and a broken fishing rod to create this amazing drum and had fun experimenting with resin on the cheese boards.
This is our way of showing our appreciation to the club as they made a substantial donation towards our senior school camp.

Apologies but due to ongoing building and maintenance works, our school oval is not able to be used for our Sports Day. There will be no school sports carnival this year. You've got a year to train for the next one!!

šŸŒ­ Fatherā€™s Day Sausage Sizzle ā€“ Thursday 3 September

Join us Thursday 3 September 10:30-11:30am for a special sausage sizzle celebrating the dads and father figures who are important in the lives of our students.

We warmly welcome all dads, grandfathers and special father figures to come along, enjoy a sausage and spend some time celebrating together.

We apologise for the late notice and hope you can join us!
