A big thank you to all our wonderful parents and carers who came along to cheer on our students at the Infants Athletics!

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day, and it was fantastic to see all the kids having such a great time, giving everything a go and cheering each other on.

Congratulations to all our podium champions! 🥇🥈🥉

We are so proud of every student for their effort, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the day.

Is your child an athlete who qualified for state athletics last week? If so, and you have not yet completed the DASH registration, please see the information below.

Congratulations to all North West athletes who have qualified for the NSWPSSA Athletics Championships being held in Sydney next term.

⚠ Please ensure you complete the DASH registration asap to confirm your attendance and so your school can approve the application; payment is to be completed by Thursday 17 September.

Optional apparel orders will be posted out once payment has been made.

Our basketballers had a wonderful day at the Armidale Basketball Gala Day, showcasing their skills, developing their game and, most importantly, enjoying the opportunity to compete and learn alongside other young players.

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship our students displayed throughout the day. 🙌🏀

A huge thank you to Basketball NSW and the Armidale Basketball Association for providing our students with such a fantastic experience. We truly appreciate the opportunity to get out on the court and grow our skills! 👏

Celebrating Our Talented Visual Artists! 🎨
A talented group of 16 students from Years 3–6 recently enjoyed four exciting days in the Art Gallery, exploring the creative world of printmaking. Selected for their talent and ability in Visual Arts, these students embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, creativity and imagination.
Throughout the program, students explored a variety of printmaking techniques and created their own printing blocks, including collagraph, string and scratch foam prints. Using these handmade blocks, along with an assortment of materials ranging from nature to random bits and bobs, students experimented with pattern, texture, shape and colour to create a collection of six unique prints.
Students then used their creative abilities to thoughtfully present their final prints as a large collaborative display. Their leftover prints were given a new life as students transformed them into torn-paper collages, creating individual designs of their choice and demonstrating wonderful imagination and initiative.
While working in the gallery, students also participated in a collaborative artwork, with each student creating a section of a beautiful citrus fruit using blended oil pastels. When brought together, the individual sections formed one vibrant and impressive collective artwork.
The work produced throughout the four days is truly amazing and is now proudly on display in the school Art Galleryfor our school community to enjoy.
Mrs Henley is incredibly impressed by the creativity, imagination, enthusiasm and initiative demonstrated by each student throughout the program. It has been wonderful to see these talented young artists experiment, take creative risks and develop their own artistic ideas.
Well done to our wonderful Visual Arts students!
