🌟 School Holidays Are Almost Here! 🌟

As we approach the end of another busy term, we would like to remind families that the last day of Term 2 is Friday 26th June.

🎒 Term 3 will commence on Monday 13th July.

We wish all of our students and families a safe, happy and relaxing holiday break. Enjoy the time together, stay safe, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another great term!

This term Alana & Kate have been at Goondi State School
facilitating our Junior Respect Me program for their year 6 cohort. 👏

This program supports students moving into high school and adolescence to be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to manage the change and challenges apart of this transition. Over the five-week program students participate in a fun and interactive experience where they can learn about healthy and respectful relationships in a safe space.

A few weeks ago, our Prep cohort had the opportunity to visit R.C Homestead and Petting Zoo in Carmoo.
Here are some photos of their big day at the farm. The students were so well behaved and looked like they loved every second. They had the chance to hold small animals (chicks 🐥 and rats 🐀), pat piglets 🐖 and Guinea pigs 🐹, as well as feed horses 🐴, cows 🐄, goats 🐏 and sheep 🐑.
