🩵 Help Us Complete Our Beautiful Mural 🩵

Ms Parker and Mrs Oats have been working hard creating a stunning mural for our school, and we need your help to finish bringing it to life!

We are currently collecting LIGHT BLUE plastic bottle lids to help complete the final section of the artwork. If you have any clean, light blue lids at home, we would greatly appreciate your donations.

🏉🏐 Bill Nettle Rugby League Gala Day & NQ Netball Cup Success! 🏐🏉

Our Year 5 and 6 students proudly represented Ingham State School in Townsville at the Bill Nettle Rugby League Gala Day and the Northern Queensland Netball Cup.

Both teams displayed outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork and determination throughout the day, with each side progressing through the pool rounds and earning a place in the finals. This is a fantastic achievement and a credit to the effort and commitment shown by all students.

We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented our school both on and off the field. Congratulations to all players and thank you to our staff, coaches and families for your support.

Students at Ingham State School recently enjoyed a special visit from the Cairns School of Distance Education Italian teachers. The exciting session gave students the opportunity to further develop their Italian language skills while learning more about Italian culture.

Students practised their Italian pronunciation and confidently used words and phrases they have been learning in their lessons. "Buongiorno!" (Good morning) and "Come stai?" (How are you?) could be heard throughout the day as students enthusiastically participated in activities.

The visit also included some fun Italian games and the chance to sample a selection of Italian soft drinks, which proved to be a highlight for many students. Che divertimento! (What fun!)

It was wonderful to see students so engaged and eager to learn. The visit provided a valuable hands-on learning experience and helped bring the Italian language to life.
