Meet the Mount Hotham-Dinner Plain CFA Brigade!

Thursday 26th of December is a day of Total Fire Ban across Victoria. This means that no fires can be lit or be allowed to remain alight in the open air from 12:01 AM until 11:59 PM Thursday 26 December 2024.

Also today, all regions except East Gippsland are at Extreme Fire Danger Ratings. This means that conditions are especially dangerous for people in areas near where bushfires are currently burning.

If you leave elevated risk areas, do so no later than 10 am on 26 December before the Extreme fire conditions begin. Be sure to let your family and friends know where you are going.
