Little Desert Division
Last Wednesday we had students from both campuses represent out school at the Little Desert Division Carnival. Students competed against other schools in AFL, Soccer and Netball.

Netball
Congratulations to both of our school netball teams on their outstanding performances. HWHPS 1 (Division 1) and HWHPS 2 (Division 2- Friendlies) were undefeated throughout the day, showcasing excellent skill and teamwork in every match.
A special congratulations goes to HWHPS 1, who progressed through to the Grand Final and were crowned Division 1 champions after a fantastic team performance. We wish them all the best as they advance to the Greater Western Regional Carnival in Ballarat. A big thank you to Maryam, Melissa Hoffmann, Tegan Wade, Kimmy Shannon and Mrs Shields.

Soccer
HWHPS enjoyed an outstanding day at the Little Desert Division Soccer competition, recording four wins from four games. The team played with energy, teamwork and determination throughout the day.
Archie was a constant threat through the middle, finishing with six goals, while Htoo Say led the forward line superbly and scored nine goals. Lincoln K impressed with his skilful dribbling and ability to move the ball into attacking positions, and Afraz contributed several excellent passes that created opportunities for teammates.
In midfield, Ivan provided strong leadership and control, helping the team transition between defence and attack. Jimmy worked tirelessly to hold down an attacking corner, while Moo Soe showed leadership and composure in defence. Jack and Ben shared the goalkeeping duties effectively throughout the day. A special highlight was seeing Henry and Lincoln S score their first ever goals for the school team, making the tournament a memorable experience for everyone involved. The team proceeds to the Greater Western Regional Carnival in Ballarat. Thank you to Mr V for his encouragement and guidance.

Haven Campus

Our tiny campus of just 109 students has achieved something incredible!

Thanks to the generosity of our students, families and community, Haven Campus raised an amazing $1,352.80 for MND Victoria.

A special thank you to Powercor Horsham Social Club for their generous contribution, which gave our fundraising efforts a substantial boost.

This fundraiser was particularly close to the hearts of many of our students and families, making the support shown by our community even more meaningful. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, participated and helped spread awareness.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us support those affected by Motor Neurone Disease.

Here’s to continued research, increased awareness, and one day finding a cure for this devastating disease. 💙
