Council has completed works at the Burnt Creek Bike park to return the affected jumps to their previous condition.

Using existing soil already on site, the modified jumps have been reshaped back to their original height and compacted to create safer tabletop jumps suitable for all users.

Council will continue to monitor the site and encourages users to help look after the area. We ask everyone using the site to do so responsibly and work with us to help keep the area safe and enjoyable for all users.

📣 Clubs across the Wimmera we want to hear from you

Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly in collaboration with Regional Sport Victoria is pleased to launch the 2026 Regional Victorian Community Sport Census - This statewide survey is your opportunity to make sure your club’s voice is heard.

We’re encouraging clubs and volunteers across the Wimmera to take part in this short (15-minute) survey.

We know every club is different. This is your chance to share:
✔️ What’s working well in your club
✔️ The challenges you’re currently facing
✔️ The support that would make the biggest difference

Your input will directly inform how we, alongside Regional Sport Victoria and the Regional Sport Network, shape future programs, services, and advocacy to better support grassroots community sporting clubs across our region.

🎯 What’s in it for your sporting club?
Clubs that take part will go into the draw to receive up to $2,500 in tailored support from their local Regional Sports Assembly, with one club selected in each participating region.

👉 Complete the survey: https://regionalsportvictoria.snapforms.com.au/form/2026-regional-victorian-community-sport-census

This is a chance to ensure the needs of clubs in Wimmera are clearly represented in shaping the future of community sport.

𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 - 𝟮𝟳 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝟯 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲

This week, we reflect on our shared history and take meaningful steps toward a more respectful, united future for all Australians.

This year’s theme, “All In”, is a powerful call to action for all Australians to actively contribute to reconciliation and to work together towards a more united and respectful future.

The theme reminds us that reconciliation is built through everyday actions, it requires commitment, understanding and meaningful action from everyone, every day.
