YEAR 9 CAMP ADVENTURES!

Our Year 9 students set off for the Paluma Outdoor Education Centre on Monday morning and have been enjoying an action packed few days filled with adventure, teamwork and plenty of fun!

Here is a glimpse of what they have been up to so far. We look forward to welcoming everyone home tomorrow afternoon, hopefully with lots of great stories and wonderful memories to share! Thanks Chappy Jennie for the great photos!!!!!

Best of luck to our amazing IT Technician, Shae Machin, who is heading to Brisbane for the i-Educate Conference beginning tomorrow!

Shae has been selected as a presenter and will share her knowledge, skills and innovative work with educators from across Queensland. We are incredibly proud to have Shae representing HHSHS and know she will be absolutely brilliant!

💛🖤 R U OK? DAY AT HHSHS 🖤💛

Today, our amazing Support Team brought students and staff together at lunchtime to recognise R U OK? Day and remind everyone of the importance of checking in with the people around us.

There was plenty happening, including a delicious BBQ cooked by the awesome Mr Styles, hopscotch, chalk drawing and a range of special R U OK? Day activities. We were also treated to a spectacular cake created by Mrs Machin, Mrs O’Neill and our talented Café Club team members!

While the activities and food were fantastic, the true highlight of the day was seeing our students connect with one another. There was laughter, conversation, kindness and a wonderful sense of connection across our school community.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Support Team and everyone who helped make today such a meaningful and enjoyable occasion. 💛
