💙 A gentle reminder to our Home Hill State School families 💙

With lots of bugs and illnesses making their way around, we ask that families please remember to keep children home when they are unwell.

We understand that children can be keen to get back to school, but giving them time to rest and recover helps them get better sooner and, importantly, helps prevent illness spreading to other students and staff.

🤒 If your child is sick, please give them a Time Out at home until they are well enough to return to school.

This is especially important if your child has symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, significant coughing or is generally not well enough to participate fully in the school day.

Thank you for helping us keep our Home Hill State School community healthy and well. 💙

Sick at home = rest, recover and return when well! 🌿

Staff are required to take certain steps if a child in their care may have a contagious condition.
