🎄SANTA VISIT🎄

Tuesday 24th December 2024

Get ready boys and girls, Santa will be on his way this Tuesday starting at 2pm in Carrington Street, West Wallsend. He will be handing out lollipops again this year thanks to the amazing donation from Becker Mining Australia.

We will be visiting the suburbs and streets as shown on the maps below:
⭐ West Wallsend
⭐ Holmesville
⭐ Barnsley
⭐ Edgeworth
⭐ Cameron Park

We have tried to include as many streets as possible, but due to time constraints we are not able to drive down every street. To avoid dissappointment, please make sure you check the maps to see if we are in your street. If not, we would love to see you at a safe location on one of the intersections.

We will not be able to take any food donations this year.

Comprehensive training is provided for all on-call firefighters, covering all aspects of the work involved to keep your community safe. You’ll need to:
- Hold a current NSW driver’s licence.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen,or a permanent resident of Australia.
- Live or work within a reasonabledistance from your local fire station.
- Have daytime availability to respond toemergencies.

Earlier tonight our pump and tanker responded to multiple 000 calls for fires surrounding the fields of PASTERFIELDS SPORTS COMPLEX. On arrival we identified multiple ignition locations and quickly got to work extinguishing. We were also supported by Fire and Rescue NSW Station 458 Teralba

Congratulations to the 4 members receiving their medals tonight from the Fire Rescue Commissioner for their part in helping with the bush fires in 2019/2020 around the state. A great recognition for their service and time put in to helping others. Capt David Arthur, R/FF James Evans, R/FF Troy Chambers and R/FF Richard Sellick. Well done.
