Happy Easter from Tasmania Battalion!

No matter where our cadets are, today is about connection, community, and taking a moment to share a bit of joy (and chocolate).

For some of our team, Easter is being spent in Canberra while attending the RSM-A National Drill Competition but as always, they’ve found a way to bring a bit of Tassie spirit with them.

To our cadets, staff, families, and everyone who supports the program - Thank you, and we hope your day is filled with good company and a well-earned Easter treat.

Team Tassie has officially arrived in Canberra, ready to represent our state at the National RSM-A 2026 Drill Competition 🇦🇺

This team is made up of cadets selected from across Tasmania each chosen for their dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence. Bringing together talent from units statewide, they now stand as one team, proudly representing Tasmania on the national stage.

Over the coming days, they’ll be put through their paces across a range of highly skilled and demanding events, including:
• Precision section based drill
• Catafalque duties, showcasing respect, composure, and ceremonial excellence
• Individually assessed Pace Stick drill (RSM)
• Individually assessed Sword drill (RCUO)

This competition is not just about drill. It's about leadership, teamwork, and representing their state with pride and professionalism.

We wish Team Tassie the very best as they step onto the parade ground in Canberra. Stand tall, stay sharp, and give it everything.
