Do you live or work in greater Launceston or will you be in the area on 15 June?

A reminder that the Australian Government is testing its new emergency warning system on Monday 15 June.

Any compatible mobile devices such as tablets, smartwatches and mobile phones will receive a Priority Alert โ€“ this is a โ€˜watch and actโ€™ alert.

Your device will play a siren-like warning sound and display a test message at the same time.

Donโ€™t be alarmed when you receive this. You donโ€™t need to do anything and the sound should only last for around 10 seconds.

If you would like to avoid the alert, please turn your phone off during this time.

โœ… Flexibility and great opportunities

Whether youโ€™re semi-retired, a parent, studying, or simply looking for rewarding part-time work - this could be just what youโ€™re after! To be eligible, you must hold a current Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
