We're open from 1pm to 6pm on ANZAC Day. We recommend reading this post for information on traffic management and parking for tomorrow!

ANZAC Day Parking and Road Closures🎺 🎺

To assist with entry and exit to the Cenotaph and the ANZAC Day March, the City of Hobart will be putting traffic management measures in place on the Tasman Highway from the Tasman Bridge through to Barrack Street on Anzac Day, Saturday, 25 April 2026.

Traffic management will be in place from 4am until approximately 2pm and there will be changes to the speed limits during the day. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the City as there may be delays.

The Regatta Grounds will be available for parking all day and will be open to the public from 5am.

Argyle Street Car Park will be operating from 6.30am – 10pm. Centrepoint and Hobart Central Car Parks will be closed.

There will be no fees or time limits for on-street parking in the City.

Upcoming Tasman Highway night works and temporary traffic changes from late April 2026.

Hi Everyone,

Please be aware of the upcoming night works that may affect your journey to the centre in evenings and early mornings.

Please see the link below for more details

TasWater will construct a sewer pipeline across the Tasman Highway near Lower Domain Road from 27 April to 31 May 2026. Overnight works will require lane closures, detours, and reduced speeds.
