nia is more than world-class education, state of the art learning facilities and dedicated teaching and academic staff, it is also about providing an exceptional life experience. In today’s globalised world where places feel more and more alike, Tasmania offers something different and unique, not just our landscape, but our community as well. Tasmania is a modern, vibrant place to live and study, with safe and inviting cities that offers an affordable alternative to other Australian cities. With little pollution and pristine wilderness at your door step, our island lifestyle provides easy access to activities and cultural events. You can undertake secondary, tertiary or vocational education and training through a range of institutions, including schools, the University of Tasmania, TasTAFE and private Registered Training Organisations. The quality of education, the lifestyle and settlement opportunities are second to none. Tasmania is a place where people choose to work hard, follow their passions, and support one another to achieve extraordinary things. Our approach is to connect our international students into this community, this thinking and give them an experience and a story that is different from any other. That’s a wrap on our South Korea and Japan Showcase events! 🌏✈️

We were thrilled to host the Study Tasmania Education Showcases in Seoul and Tokyo this month, bringing a unified Team Tasmania presence back to these vital priority markets.

The showcases provided a fantastic opportunity to connect directly with key education agents, counsellors, and agency CEOs, sharing the unique advantages, high quality study options, and diverse migration pathways that Tasmania has to offer.

A massive thank you to our incredible delegation of Tasmanian education providers who joined us to showcase the very best of our state's institution: University of Tasmania, Tasmanian Government Schools International, Tas TAFE Tas TAFE International , The Friends' School, Scotch Oakburn College.

We look forward to building on these connections and welcoming more South Korean and Japanese students to our beautiful island state!

This week celebrates the incredible contributions of volunteers across Australia (Volunteering Tasmania) and encourages everyone to get involved in meaningful ways within their local communities.

Volunteering is also a great opportunity for international students to connect with their community, give back and make new friends and professional networks along the way.

This year also aligns with the United Nations International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development, recognising how volunteering links local and global communities and supports a more inclusive, sustainable future.
