Due to the statewide media coverage of the planned electricity outage affecting the whole of Victor Harbor (and surrounding districts) from Sunday 10pm through to Monday 6am we thought it prudent to be very vigilant with security to the facility – our systems have good backup but we wanted to ensure that we were not reliant on backup systems for this period. We organised a generator to maintain 240V to the complex. Along with security and added SAPOL patrols the night went without incident – It certainly was a weird night – luckily the moonlight was also bright.
