On behalf of the South West Road Transport Wall of Legends and the wider transport community, we extend our deepest condolences to the Gibbins family on the passing of Jim.

Jim was not only a respected member of our industry, but also part of the foundation of our history as one of the original 2018 inductees onto our Wall of Legends. His contribution to road transport and the people within it will not be forgotten.

We are honoured to have his name etched into history where his legacy will continue to stand for generations to come.

Thinking of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

We would like to pass on our sincere condolence’s to Trevor ‘Coyote’ Dennert, family and friends on the sudden loss of his beautiful wife of 40 years, Deb last night.

May the love you shared be your strength during this difficult time Trev.

Debbie’s smile and support for the industry never went unnoticed here at South West Road Transport Wall of Legends. We have no doubt her dedication to her family contributed to Trev fulfilling his dream behind the wheel to this day. An absolute gem!

What a wonderful send of for Ray Dennert today.
A man who clearly left his footprint on this world.
We were honoured to present Ray’s son, Trevor (Coyote) with Ray’s wall plaque prior to them all
being replaced.
Rest peacefully Ray.

The funeral service for the late Mr MAX "RAY" DENNERT is to be held at ST STEPHENS ANGLICAN CHURCH, Julia Street, Portland on THURSDAY, 24th of AUGUST commencing at 2.00PM.
Followed by interment at Portland South Cemetery, Cape Nelson Road, Portland.

🌿 We are truly saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Ray Dennert in Portland this morning.

A true LEGEND in every sense of the word.

Ray, you were the pure essence of a hard working man who worked extraordinarily hard in the Road Transport industry for all of your achievements.. We experienced your joy when you were inducted on our wall and were thrilled to share your joy this year when your son Trevor (Coyote) was inducted. We loved your pride for the industry, your love for your family (and your families love for you) and your cheeky sense of humour. Lastly, we will miss you sitting at our wall. You may not know this Ray but your presence humbled us and gave us the drive to continue to honour men and women who have done the hard yards as you did. When we looked at you we saw the reason our wall exists. You were an icon, an absolute Legend!

Another log book closed but your story will forever be remembered etched in history!

Sincere condolences to Ray’s family and friends. He was one in a million! The world lost a good one today 🚚💨💨

FOR BENTLEY….

We received a message from the lovely Taylor thanking us for the story on Pockets. As many of you know Pockets had a son Michael. Sadly Michael passed away in a workplace accident when his son Bentley was 2 weeks old. Taylor is Bentley’s Mum who contacted us with so much gratitude of the story of Peter’s career. That story being published meant the world to them.

With Taylor’s permission we are currently compiling a book of memories for Bentley to cherish for years to come.

Please post any memorable stories of Pockets in the comments below or inbox so this young man can bridge the gap. Photo’s would be amazing too. If you have any memories of Michael and Pockets adventures together that would be amazing too.

We thank you all in advance for taking the time for this remarkable young man. Your act of kindness would truly mean the world to this family.
