💛 A Huge THANK YOU from Heathcote SES! 💛
All the volunteers at Heathcote SES send our biggest THANK YOU!! to the Mudbrick Motley Theatre for bringing together local entertainers and our wonderful community to make Gratitude Day such an enormous success.
It’s always risky to offer targeted thanks as we know how many hands make days like this possible—but we want to give a special shout out to Maree Hingston, Linda and Hank Cornelissen, and Fiona Hanlan for the massive amount of work they put in behind the scenes for months and months. Their energy, coordination, and heart brought everyone together and created a truly joyful afternoon.
It’s incredible to understand just how many organisations and individuals donated in so many different ways. What never stops amazing us is just how generous, selfless, and community minded Heathcote is. Whether you were a lucky raffle winner, a silent auction bidder, a donor, an entertainer who freely shared your talent, one of the organisers or a member of the Volunteer army who made the day happen—you each played a part in making Gratitude Day unbelievably special.
The final tally will be announced once the counting is complete, but we can already say this: we are now much further along the path toward a new 4WD Rescue Truck for Heathcote, and we will never forget that we could not reach that goal without all of you.
