Please remember that this page is a public forum. Good manners, polite interactions and respectful comments are expected from all our Facebook friends, even when disagreeing or expressing concerns. The Shire of Harvey reserves the right to remove without notice or justification any posts which are:
- Violent, obscene, profane, hateful, derogatory, racist or sexist language links or images;
- Information that may compromise the safety or security of the public;
- Personal information about any person. This includes identifying any individual by name if they have not already done so;
- Any discussion or promotion of behaviour that is unlawful;
- Comments that threaten or defame any person or organisation;
- Solicitations, advertisements, endorsements or spam;
- Encouragement or glamorisation of the use of alcohol, to***co, or illegal drugs;
- Multiple successive irrelevant posts by a single user and or group/organisation;
- Repetitive posts copied and pasted or duplicated by single or multiple users/groups/organisations; or
- Any other inappropriate content or comments as determined by the Shire of Harvey. Comments which use offensive language, demean other people, derail conversations with off-topic remarks or references to unrelated posts will be hidden or deleted, and the people posting them may be permanently banned from the Shire’s page. All material posted on the page must comply with Facebook’s Terms of Use. The Shire of Harvey is not responsible or liable for any content posted or uploaded to this site by a user or any content on third party sites. The act of the Shire of Harvey ‘following’ or ‘liking’ an individual person, group, organisation, business, event or location through social media platforms does not indicate the Council or the Shire of Harvey endorses the views, products, services or activities pertaining to the ‘followed’ or ‘liked’ group, business or entity.
