🚒🔥 TRAINING THAT BRINGS THE HEAT! 🔥🚒

Have you spotted the big red box sitting at the Showgrounds and wondered what’s inside? 👀🔥

Well, it’s CFA’s mobile gas car fire training prop! 🚗🔥

This specialised training unit allows our local firefighters to experience realistic vehicle fire scenarios in a controlled environment, helping them build their skills and prepare for the real thing.

🔥 Realistic flames, heat and noise – The prop uses LPG to simulate the conditions of a vehicle fire.

🛑 Safety is a priority – Built-in safety controls and emergency shut-offs allow instructors to manage the fire and stop the simulation when needed.

🚒 See it in action! – The mobile prop will be at the Showgrounds for Emergency Services Day on Saturday, 31 October, where it will be used as part of the demonstrations!

Come along, check it out and see a little of what goes into preparing our firefighters to protect the community. ❤️💛

💛 R U OK? DAY – ASK THE QUESTION

As emergency service volunteers, we’re often there for others when things go wrong. We see difficult situations, work under pressure and sometimes experience things that can stay with us long after the sirens stop.

So today, we’re checking in with our brigade family, our fellow emergency services, our friends, our families and our community.

💛 Are you OK?
👂 Listen.
🤝 Encourage support.
📱 Check in again.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes simply asking the question, taking the time to listen and letting someone know you’re there can make a real difference.

And remember — R U OK? isn’t just for one day. Ask the question any day.
