WHAT'S ON - TERM 2 WEEK 9:

A few reminders for Monday's Athletics Carnival:
- Buses leave for the venue at 8.30am. Students must be at school before then.
- There are no lunch order facilities - please pack lunch, recess & a refillable water bottle.
- Students must bring a hat & can wear house colours - no coloured hair spray, face paint ect is allowed at the venue.
- No phones or smart watches are permitted - these should be left at home or dropped into the school office when arriving at school.

What an incredible couple of days at Star Struck! ⭐✨

Our talented girls represented Gwandalan Public School with pride, enthusiasm and professionalism, and we couldn’t be more proud of their efforts. The experience provided wonderful opportunities to build confidence, teamwork and create memories that will last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to our families for your ongoing support, encouragement and commitment throughout rehearsals and performances. We truly appreciate everything you do to make opportunities like this possible for our students.

A special thank you also goes to Mrs Shepherd for her dedication, organisation and countless hours supporting the girls throughout their Star Struck journey. Your passion and commitment helped make this experience such a success.

Well done, girls! You were absolutely amazing and represented our school beautifully. 🌟💙

Our Book Fair is open from 8:30am today! Students and families are welcome to browse and purchase books and other items before school, during lunchtime, and after school until 3:30pm.

The Book Fair will be open today and tomorrow, and will continue next week, providing plenty of opportunities to visit and support our school library.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Rescheduled Boys and Girls PSSA Soccer Gala Day
Thursday 4th June, 2026.
Please note change of venue to Wadalba Sports Complex on the corner of the Pacific Highway and Louisiana Road, Kanwal.

Boys 1st game kicks off at 9:30am sharp. Please ensure your child is at the ground no later than 8:45am.

Girls 1st game kicks off at 10:30am sharp. Please ensure your child is at the ground no later than 9:45am.
The gala day is expected to conclude at approximately 1:30pm. Concluding time is subject to change and may be affected by game times (extra time, penalties etc).

In the event of wet weather, the games will still proceed unless the grounds are closed. This will be announced on the school School Bytes app.

Please bring soccer boots and shin pads. Let Mr. Plumb know if your child does not have them.

Please arrive for the game in full school uniform. Students will be provided with a jersey and socks to wear to the game. They must return both at the conclusion of the day.

Students will need to bring their own recess and lunch.

⚽ Congratulations, Matari! ⚽

We are incredibly proud to share that Matari has been selected in the Global Football Network Academy Elite Team and will travel to the United Kingdom in 2026 for a 14-day professional football tour.

This is a fantastic achievement and recognition of Matari's hard work, commitment, and talent. We wish him every success as he prepares for this exciting opportunity.

Matari is currently fundraising to help cover the costs of the tour. If you would like to support his journey, please see the attached fundraising information.
