No Parking In Front of Post Office

The council is widening the footpath in front of the Post Office today and tomorrow so parking is not available right in front for a few days. We apologise for the inconvenience and we look forward to our new footpath!!

Also, want to give something else with the yummy chocolate, come and have a look at our kids books, activity and colouring in books, chalk, pencils, activity mats.

Do you have a Soadastream or would you like one? Here at Gulgong Post Office we stock the Sodastream machines, cyclinders, flavours and bottles.
Bring your empty cyclinder in to get a discount on a new one. If you like a certain flavour talk to us to see if we can get that flavour in.

This card was left on one of our writing desks this morning. Inside is a wonderful letter. We know the person who left it must be missing it so please share and ask them to come into the Gulgong Post Office. It is waiting for them in our lost and found.

What a surprise!

This morning my wonderful team gave me a card to celebrate 10 years of running the Gulgong Post Office. Inside were some beautiful comments and well-wishes from our many customers.

Thank you all very very much.

It has been a great 10 years. Now on to the next ten...

GULGONG POST OFFICE WANTS YOU...
to please collect your parcels quickly.

Santa's sack is full. Please help us make some room. If you have a parcel (or parcels) "Awaiting Collection at Gulgong Post Office", we would love to see you very soon.

We are open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. If you can't come in yourself, you can authorise someone to collect your parcels. The easiest way is in the AusPost app on your phone. Alternatively, you can give them written permission (please make sure it includes your handwritten signature). Everyone collecting a parcel must show their photo ID (Sorry, photos of ID cannot be accepted).

If you're tracking your parcel and you see "Arrived at Facility" or "Unload item from container", please ignore it. They are nonsense scan events. We have asked Australia Post to stop them. Keep an eye out for "Onboard for delivery" or "Awaiting collection" scan events instead.

This time of year is often stressful. All of us here are doing our best to help you have a happy and safe Christmas.

We know that people often feel like we don't try hard enough to deliver your parcels. While we would like to leave more parcels when you're not at home, the sender sometimes imposes strict guidelines on obtaining a signature. Also, if our posties are aware of being followed or watched, they may decide not to leave a parcel unattended to avoid it being stolen.

Thank you all for your wonderful support throughout the year and for your patience now, during our busiest time.
