Celebrating Success at House Group Assemblies!

Last week, we came together to recognise and celebrate the achievements of students in Gilmore. It was a fantastic opportunity to acknowledge the dedication, growth and positive contributions our students make to our school community each day.

A special moment was shared as we also farewelled Gilmore Year 12 students. As they prepare to take their next steps beyond school, we wish them every success and happiness in the journey ahead. You will always be a part of our school family 😊

Celebrating our amazing SASS & SLSOs

This week is SASS Recognition Week and Greystanes High School would like to celebrate and acknowledge the incredible care, kindness, dedication and hard work our School Administrative and Support Staff (SASS) and School Learning Support Officers (SLSOs) provide every single day. Their commitment to supporting students with additional needs makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our students, families and the wider school community.

SASS Recognition Week is a wonderful opportunity for us to pause, acknowledge their efforts and simply say thank you for everything you do.

This year’s theme says it perfectly: “School Administrative & Support Staff: Our jobs, your children, their future.” Thank you for the compassion you show, the encouragement you provide and the countless ways you help our students learn, grow and thrive.

GHS appreciates you and all the support you provide teachers, Head Teachers and the Senior Executive team.
