OUR PREP OPEN DAY IS TOMORROW!

Rain, hail or shine, we are READY and excited to welcome our future Prep students and families to Greenlands tomorrow from 9:00am–11:00am! 🌟

Our amazing team has transformed our indoor learning spaces into a hands-on construction-themed adventure, packed with creative play, building challenges, sensory activities and opportunities to explore, imagine and learn together. 🏗️🧱🚜

☔ With a little rain forecast - don’t let the weather stop you!

Please bring:
• a raincoat or umbrella, drink bottle/snacks
• a spare change of clothes/shoes if needed
• lots of excitement and curiosity!

We can’t wait to meet our newest little learners, show families around our beautiful school and share what makes Greenlands such a special place to learn, grow and belong. ❤️💙

🎶🏆 TAKE A BOW, GREENLANDS! 🏆🎶

What an incredible morning at the Border District Eisteddfod! We are so proud of every single one of our students who represented Greenlands State School with confidence, teamwork and outstanding school spirit.

🌟 Our P–1–2 “Tiny Tots” Choir received a Highly Commended result for their beautiful performance. For many of our youngest students, this was their first time performing on such a big stage, and they did an amazing job!

🥇 Our Year 2–6 Primary Choir achieved FIRST PLACE in the Primary Age Choral Contest for schools with 100 students or less!

Thankyou to the adjudicator who praised the choir’s:

🎵 “Great big, vibrant sound”
🎵 “Beautiful sound”
🎵 “Great storytelling and nice contrasts”
🎵 “Excellent job!”

A huge thank you to the wonderful Mrs Reimers for her passion, commitment and leadership of our choir program, and to Mrs McCosker for accompanying our students so beautifully on the piano. 👏🎹

We would also like to sincerely thank our staff for supervising, encouraging and supporting students along the way and throughout the day, helping everything run so smoothly. Your care and encouragement means so much to our students and families.

Thank you also to our parents & families for your ongoing support, from helping students prepare and practice, to attending and cheering our students on and transporting this morning. We truly value the strong partnership between home and school.

Most importantly, congratulations to our amazing students. Your courage, teamwork, resilience and pride in representing Greenlands was wonderful to see. You should all feel incredibly proud of yourselves!!

We also wish Mrs Buddle and our Strings Ensembles all the very best as they prepare to perform tomorrow, we know you will represent Greenlands proudly and we are cheering you all the way! 🎻✨

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Granite Belt Cross Country 2026 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

What a fantastic day at the Granite Belt Cross Country held today at Severnlea State School!

We are incredibly proud of our Greenlands students who represented our school with determination, resilience and wonderful sportsmanship.

Cross country is tough, it takes grit, persistence and a positive mindset, and every one of our students should be so proud of stepping up and giving it their all today. They encouraged one another, pushed through challenges and represented Greenlands beautifully. ❤️💙
