📣Regional voices matter and they’re being heard!

Our CEO, Olivia West, joined Eddie Williams on ABC South East NSW Breakfast to discuss the importance of Australia Post’s retail network to regional communities and what we’re hearing directly from our communities.

Our recent Australia Post Community Poll found:

📮 93% of respondents said a significant reduction in Australia Post services would impact their community.
📮9 in 10 respondents visit their local Australia Post service nearly every week.

For regional communities, Australia Post is about much more than mail and parcels. These services are an important connection point, supporting residents, businesses and the social fabric of our communities.

Olivia also spoke about the recent Adaminaby Post Office closure and its replacement with a Community Postal Agency and the implications of changes to Australia Post’s regional retail network.

As the Senate inquiry into Australia Post’s retail network considers the future of these services, RDASNA will continue to ensure the voices and experiences of regional communities are heard.

🔬 National Science Week 2027 public events grants now open!

Next year marks the 30th anniversary of National Science Week, Australia’s largest celebration of science, with around three million people taking part in more than 2,500 events each year.

Grants of $5,000 to $20,000 are available to deliver virtual and in-person activities, including public exhibitions and hands-on demonstrations.

I’d love to see some great ideas from right here in the come to life! 🧪🔭
