Today, the We Love Goulburn Gardening Group was recognised as the NSW Volunteer Team of the Year for the NSW Southern Inland Region.

This dedicated team of volunteers lovingly cares for the gardens at the Historic Goulburn Waterworks and St Clair Villa Museum, helping to create beautiful and welcoming spaces that enhance every visitor's experience.

Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement, and thank you for your outstanding contribution to preserving and showcasing Goulburn's heritage.

On 10 September 2023, the Goulburn Historic Waterworks was recognised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers with an Engineering Heritage Award, acknowledging the site's outstanding significance in Australia's industrial and engineering history.

Pictured here is Bryan, who installed the official award plaque, helping to ensure visitors can learn about this important recognition for years to come.

This achievement highlights the remarkable legacy of the Waterworks and the dedicated volunteers and staff who help preserve this unique piece of Goulburn's history.

The Australian Government is providing $10,540 from the Festivals Australia program to support a series of arts workshops at Steampunk Goulburn, a retro-futuristic festival celebrating fashion, art and music.
