Join us for some spooky fun! Get your family together to tackle our Halloween challenges. Explore a trail of games, crafts and puzzles as you discover the Museum. Bring a picnic and enjoy the grounds.
Costumes are encouraged!
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Halloween Challenge sessions are available at 10am and 11:30am. The Museum will be open from 10am to 1pm.

Entry is $7.00 per family.

We've been busily unpacking mountains of books for our Book Sale this Saturday the 5th of September. Visit the Museum between 10am and 1pm to find:

Books 50c, Audiobooks $1 and DVDs $1. A range of genres will be available. Card and cash payments will be accepted.

Bookings are not required. Free entry, gold coin donation appreciated.

Discover how to successfully grow vegetables from seed and learn the secrets of saving seeds for next season. Enjoy a guided walk through the Museum’s vegetable garden, where Julie will share her knowledge, practical tips, and passion for sustainable gardening.
Have extra seeds or plants? Bring them along for our sharing table! We already have loofah seeds and sweet potato cuttings ready to share.
We’ll finish the morning with a relaxed morning tea, chatting about our gardening plans, swapping ideas, and connecting with fellow garden enthusiasts.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just getting started, everyone is welcome!

Saving Seeds at the Museum
Seed saving was once a life skill passed down from family member to family member. Join Julie from Down2Earth Gardening who will share her knowledge of maintaining healthy seeds for your garden.
Topics covered:
- Saving and storing seeds.
- How to successfully sow seeds.
- The difference between hybrid seeds and heirlooms.
We will have a seeds and plants sharing table. You are most welcome to bring anything you'd like to swap or share!

For ages 16 +
