Any young person aged 12 to 25 or a family member can call or drop in to RYSS to talk to a Youth Worker weekdays 9.00am to 5.00pm. Our youth workers and caseworkers are always available for a chat, and can provide advice on any issues being faced by a young person, as well as advocacy and referral to appropriate services.

National Child Protection Week runs from 6 to 12 September 2026, with the theme Every Conversation Matters: Shifting Conversation to Action. National Child Protection Week is Australia's national campaign to prevent child abuse and neglect before it happens. Led by NAPCAN for over 30 years, it brings together individuals, families, communities, organisations and governments to build safe, supportive environments where children and young people can thrive. As the seasons change, so can someone’s story 💛

For many young people on the Central Coast, autumn can bring added challenges, but with the right support, it can also be a time of stability, connection, and hope.

At Regional Youth Support Services, we’re collecting everyday essentials to support young people aged 10-25 navigating mental health challenges, family violence, and tough circumstances.

We’re currently seeking donations of:
🧴 Toiletries
🧦 New underwear & socks
🎒 Backpacks
🧥 Jumpers & warm clothing

A simple donation can help a young person feel prepared, confident, and cared for.
