Save the date – Sydney’s Biggest Book Fair returns to the Great Hall at Knox Grammar this July!

Join us from 16–19 July 2026 as we once again transform the Great Hall into a book lover’s paradise, with more than 110,000 quality pre-loved books across 50+ categories, including Fiction, Art, History, Science, Children’s, Sci Fi, and so much more. Plus, discover a huge range of vinyl, CDs, DVDs, board games, puzzles, comics, and video games.

The much-loved Knox Book Fair Auction is also back! Featuring an extraordinary collection of rare, signed and collectable books, the Auction will once again be available both at the Book Fair and online, giving book lovers and collectors the opportunity to browse and bid from wherever they are.

Every day, people reach out to Lifeline during some of the toughest moments of their lives.
In that moment, they just need someone to listen.

On Friday 12 June, every donation made to Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $20,000.

Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney recently opened a new Crisis Support Centre in North Sydney – helping strengthen Lifeline’s national crisis support network and answer more calls during some of the hardest-to-fill shift times.

With your help, this Centre can answer over 10,000 more calls to Lifeline in its first year.

It is with immense gratitude that Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney is proud to accept the momentous contribution generously donated from the Bobbin Head Cycle Classic 2026. As the Bobbo's primary charity partner, Lifeline H2HS received 50% of all funds raised, as well as an additional 10% from Ku-ring-gai Rotary Club as their chosen charity beneficiary.

We share our deepest appreciation to the event organisers, volunteer Rotarians from the Ku-ring-gai Rotary Community Network, Rotary Club of St Ives, NSW - District 9685, Rotary Club of Turramurra, Rotary Club of Wahroonga and Rotary Club of Upper Northern Beaches for their support, ensuring we can continue being there for people when they need us most.

This year's cheque, presented by Ku-ring-gai Rotary Club President Malcolm Braid to Lifeline H2HS CEO Elizabeth Lovell, hangs on display in our Reception alongside those from previous years. Each a symbol of the Bobbo's ongoing commitment to helping our centre continue to expand our important work by funding the delivery of essential su***de prevention and crisis support services in the local community.

Our much-loved $2 Book Clearance Sale was a fantastic success, with book lovers from across Sydney flocking to the Hornsby War Memorial Hall to browse more than 40,000 books, DVDs and CDs.

With only a short turnaround following our recent Book Fair in Hunters Hill, our incredible volunteers once again rose to the challenge. The team spent countless hours sorting, categorising and preparing thousands of donated items to ensure everything was ready to go as we welcomed shoppers through the doors.

Every purchase made over the weekend helped raise vital funds for Lifeline's crisis support, su***de prevention, and local community services, ensuring we can continue being there for people when they need us most.

To everyone who visited, volunteered or supported the Clearance Sale in any way, thank you. Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without you.

It is with great pride that we officially celebrate the opening of our North Sydney Crisis Support Room, generously sponsored by the Darling Carol Foundation.

Since opening in July 2025, the North Sydney Crisis Support Room has already made a remarkable impact, helping ensure more people in our community have somewhere to turn during life’s toughest moments. More than 5,000 calls have been answered, over 2,000 volunteer hours have been logged, and 700+ volunteer shifts have been completed.

This new Crisis Room will enable the team to train a further 50+ Crisis Supporters each year and help us answer over 10,000 additional calls to the 13 11 14 Crisis Line annually.

Lifeline H2HS extends its warm thank you to the Darling Carol Foundation, whose generous support has helped turn this important vision into reality.
