At Vanilla Blue, sustainability isn’t something we talk about once a year. It’s built into the way we operate every day, from the way we power our kitchen to the choices we make long before your order arrives.

Today, 25% of our electricity is powered by solar energy, we’ve diverted more than 54 tonnes of food waste from landfill, and all of our packaging is 100% recyclable.

These aren’t just milestones. They’re part of our commitment to creating catering that’s thoughtful from start to finish, while delivering the quality, reliability and presentation our clients know they can count on.

Every order is an opportunity to make a better choice, for our clients, their guests and the future.

Because great catering should do more than bring people together. It should leave a positive impact long after the meeting is over.

Behind every great initiative are the people who make it happen!

Here is our very own Louella with Martin Salter from at the launch of reusable cups at North Sydney Oval. A simple change on the surface, but one that benchmarks what is possible and shifts the way we think about waste at large scale events. When venues like North Sydney Oval lead the way, it changes community expectations and inspires others to follow. This is how real change happens!

Big shout out to Louella for an amazing job working on this project. ✨

🍰New food waste rules have officially commenced, here's what it means for your business.🌮

Larger businesses are affected first, but the scope will widen over time. If you're a smaller operator, this is your window to prepare before it becomes mandatory for you too, and these changes don't happen overnight.

A few practical next steps:
1. Check our mandate calculator to see if and when the rules apply to you
2. Explore our resources for practical changes you can start implementing now
3. Get a free food waste review from BBP to identify where to begin

The businesses that start early avoid the last-minute scramble, and often uncover cost savings along the way. 💵
