🤖📚 This week, school leaders from across our member schools came together at Bond University for the 'Learning in the Age of AI' professional learning workshop.

Facilitated by Professor Jeffrey Brand and Anne Trethewey, the session sparked rich discussion around preserving effortful learning, promoting critical thinking, and exploring the opportunities and challenges AI presents in education.

Participants left with new knowledge, fresh ideas, practical strategies, and valuable connections to support future planning in their schools. Thank you to Bond University for hosting this thought-provoking and collaborative learning experience. 🙌

🎭🎶✨ Celebrating Gold Coast Eisteddfod Success! ✨🎶🎭
A huge congratulations to all the talented students from our GCSPA member schools who have taken to the stage at this year's Gold Coast Eisteddfod!
The Gold Coast Eisteddfod provides a professional, supportive and nurturing performing arts competition for young people, inspiring the next generation of musicians, dancers, actors and performers. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their talents, challenge themselves, build confidence, and share their passion for the performing arts with the wider community.
Across music, dance and drama, our students have demonstrated remarkable dedication, creativity, teamwork and courage. Whether performing as part of a large ensemble, a small group or as a soloist, every student who stepped onto the stage should be incredibly proud of their efforts.
Over the coming days, we'll be sharing highlights from schools across the Alliance, celebrating the outstanding performances, achievements and experiences of our young performers.
👏 Well done to every student, teacher, conductor, choreographer, director and supporter who has contributed to these incredible accomplishments. We look forward to showcasing the many successes from across our member schools.

Well done Palm Beach Currumbin State High! 🤩👏🙌 What a great achievement!

A huge congratulations to our Optima Wind Ensemble, who recently performed at the Creative Generation Fanfare State Final.

The ensemble was selected as one of the Top 5 secondary school ensembles in Queensland, from more than 1,200 performances across the state — an incredible achievement for our Instrumental Music Program.

Led by Mrs Kayla Latter and Mr Justin Hart, the ensemble showcased the outstanding talent, dedication and musicianship of our students on the state stage.

Congratulations to everyone involved. We are incredibly proud of this fantastic achievement.
