These are just some of the friendly faces you'll find at Robina Health Precinct and out and about in the community, supporting people recovering from injuries and conditions impacting physical and cognitive function.
Team Leader of the Community Rehabilitation Program (CRP) Li describes their service as an important bridge between hospital and home, providing continuity of care once people are medically stable enough to leave inpatient rehabilitation.
"We work together to help a person achieve their goal, whether it is to return to work, regain independence, or improve quality of life following life-changing events like stroke or traumatic brain injury," she said.
With decades of experience and a background in physiotherapy, Li has dedicated much of her career to helping people transition successfully back into the community, but couldn't do it without the support of her team.
"It's a high-performing unit here and the culture is great," she said.
With a multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation medical, nursing and allied health staff, CRP supports patients to achieve goals that matter most to them.
