🎉 MOVIE & DISCO CELEBRATION 🎉
Our Glenview learners have earned their next whole-school celebration!

Students will have the opportunity to attend either:
🎬 Junior Movie – Swapped
🎬 Senior Movie – Dennis the Menace
🕺 Disco
Both movies have a PG classification.

We are seeking parent consent via QParents. However, we understand the short timeframe and current QParents maintenance may make it difficult for some families to provide consent before Friday.

🏉 Oztag Clinics at Glenview SS 🏉
Last Tuesday, 19 May, we were very lucky at Glenview State School to welcome Coaches Ollie and Jordan from Oztag Queensland to run Oztag Coaching Clinics.
All students in Years 3–6 joined in, learning new skills and practising their tagging techniques—while having lots of fun along the way!
We’re very grateful to Oztag QLD for providing this fantastic opportunity for our students. Thank you! 🙌

🎉 NEW DATE – Under Eights Week 2026! 🎉
Our celebration has been rescheduled and we’d love you to join us!
📅 Wednesday 3 June
⏰ 10:00am – 11:00am
📍 Junior Oval (Prep – Year 2)
Prep to Year 2 students will enjoy a morning of fun, play, and creativity, and we warmly welcome our Playgroup children, Kindy friends, and their families to come along and join in.
We can’t wait to celebrate 70 years of Under Eights Week with our wonderful community! 💛

Here at Glenview, we are so fortunate to have such an active and dedicated P&C. The commitment shown truly reflects the strength of our community, and it’s something we never take for granted.

To celebrate State of Origin, we’re holding a free dress day this Wednesday!
Students are invited to wear their team colours or favourite rugby league gear and bring along a gold coin donation.
