The Geraldton Community Bank branch of Bendigo Bank has been operating for over 15 years, throughout which over $1,200,000 has been put back into the local Geraldton and Midwest community through sponsorships, donations, grants and other forms of support, via their governing board, Midw

est Community Enterprises Limited. Up to 50% of our profits stay in Geraldton and are returned to the community. Geraldton now has an annual grants program. In its first year (2017) $60,000 was distributed back into the local community and every year thereafter. The Geraldton Community Bank branch opened in 2009, following a three-year campaign beginning with $800‚000.00 in pledges being reached by mid-October 2007. Following a feasibility study, Midwest Community Enterprises Limited was formed, and preparation for a new branch was begun in 2008. Prospectus was launched October 2008 with minimum capital of $1‚100‚000.00 being raised by early February 2009. Come in and visit our friendly staff:

The sun was shining, entry was completely FREE thanks to our Community Bank Geraldton team, and the community spirit was at an all-time high!

A quick reminder to our fantastic local clubs, schools, and community groups that applications for our Community Investment Grants (up to $3,000) are open and active!

Thanks to our new rolling monthly model, you don't have to wait for a specific round to apply. You can submit your application all year round, whenever your project is ready to launch! 🚀

How the monthly cycle works:
📥 Apply anytime during the current month.
🗓️ Monthly assessments: Your application will be reviewed, with outcomes advised by the end of the following calendar month.

⚠️ Friendly Tip: Please ensure you submit your application at least 8 weeks before your event or project is scheduled to begin so we have plenty of time to partner with you!
