WALLABY SECTION 🦘
Don’t skip this beautiful walkthrough area! This section is home to our beautiful Albinos, Tammar wallabies and Tasmanian pademelons. It has a deep, foresty vibe that makes you feel like you’ve stepped straight into the real wilderness. Half the fun is the element of surprise - if you wait quietly, you might catch a glimpse of these residents hiding in the bush. And some of them are even friendly enough to encounter you!

Why we run dingo encounters? 🐾

The more you know about an animal, the more you care. Dingoes aren’t wild dogs. They’re Australia’s keystone native predator, present on this continent for at least 4,000 years and central to the health of every ecosystem they belong to. Every encounter is a chance to replace fear with understanding, and turn a park visit into advocacy.

What can you experience with us?

🐕 Express Encounter (10 minutes)
A short introduction to dingo ecology, conservation and behaviour, plus a brief meet and greet with one of our dingo couples. Best if you’re on a tight schedule!

🐕 Deep-Dive Encounter (30 minutes)
A longer, deeply educational experience. First, a keeper-led session covering dingo biology, their long history on this continent, and their ecological role. Then a hands-on interaction with one of our dingo couples with time for questions, photos and quiet observation.

Making plans for the long weekend? 🐨

If you’re driving along the Great Ocean Road, make sure to stop by! It’s a fantastic day out for the whole family to enjoy the fresh air and meet our resident animals 🦘

Don’t forget to check out our animal encounters to make your visit extra special 💚

We’re open from 10-5 and you’ll find us just 15 minutes from the 12 Apostles!

The only bird that is faster than the emu is the African ostrich, which can hit top speeds of around 70 km/h! 🚀

Luckily, our emus usually prefer a slower pace when making new friends 😉 Meet these incredible giants face to face in our petting area and sanctuary!

We’re open everyday from 10-5!

Name a more misunderstood animal…💔
Dingoes deserve so much more love and respect than they get. Through education, we are working hard to share their message and change perspectives!

🐾 Our encounters run daily. Contribute to the change and join one, or grab a copy of the book “Dawn of a Dingo Day” by Joseph Lasarow in our shop!

Good morning from Popeye! 🐨
Popeye the koala is one of the funniest characters at the park. Aside from sleeping and eating his favourite leaves, he loves to pose for the camera 🎥

Meet him up close in our koala encounter! Booking recommended - use the code POPEYE15 for 15% off!

Rainy season is here 🌧️ but we’ve got you covered!

Don’t let the weather stop the fun! Just ask our shop staff for an umbrella and gumboots, which they will happily rent out for you. Our gumboots are available in many different sizes, and we’ve got options for kids as well! 🥾
This season, we’ve stocked up on some great quality umbrellas to make your visit extra comfortable. If you want to grab one for your future adventures, we’ve got them for sale too! 🌂 And to keep your hands free for some quality time in our petting area, we also have poncho raincoats available!

You’d be surprised how beautiful the park is when it rains - the animals usually enjoy the cooler temperatures, so you’re likely to see them even more active! 🦘

We’re open every day from 10am, located just 15 minutes from the 12 Apostles! See you soon! 👋

One of the most common questions we get here at the park! Kangaroos and wallabies are much easier to tell apart than you think 🙌🏼 Save this quick cheat sheet for your next visit:

🦘Size: Kangaroos are bigger (up to 1,80m) with longer legs, while wallabies stay small (up to 1m).

🦘Teeth and diet: Kangaroos have flat teeth meant for grazing on grass, while wallabies have more specialised and pointed teeth for eating leaves and shrubs.

🦘Fur: Wallabies generally have brighter, glossier, and more varied fur patterns to help them camouflage in the forest. Kangaroos’ fur typically features earthy grey or brown tones.

It’s much easier to spot the differences when they’re standing right in front of you. Come spend some time in our petting area and see if you can tell them apart! 🧐

We’re open everyday from 10am 🌿
